Back in the golden age of the comic books, one could buy just about anything from hi-tech x-ray glasses to your own two-man nuclear submarine from the advertising pages of a favorite comic book. All this and much more could be purchased for less than a quarter pounder with cheese meal at McDonalds today. The comic ads did not actually sell products, they sold dreams. The following is my take on an ad I saw many times a child.
